Booking and Pitch Allocation
Q If we book pitches together, are they guaranteed to be next to each other?
No, we do not pre-allocate pitches. Pitches are chosen on arrival on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are arriving with others and wish to be together, we recommend arriving at the same time to increase the chances of securing pitches side by side.
Please note that during peak season, if your bookings are for different pitch types (e.g. electric vs. non-electric), this may reduce the likelihood of being placed next to one another. We advise considering this when booking.
Q Can I book ferry tickets through Grange Farm?
Yes! We offer a convenient service to book return ferry tickets along with your pitch or accommodation.
Q How do I book and pay for ferry tickets?
Ferry tickets must be prepaid. To book and pay, please call us at 01983 740296. Early booking is recommended, as availability can change quickly.
Q Are there discounts available?
Yes, we can offer up to 45% off compared to direct booking prices. However, our allocation is limited and may not always be available.
Q Can I book one-way tickets or use different ferry companies?
No, we can only book return tickets with the same ferry company (either Wightlink or Red Funnel).
Q What if I’m splitting my stay across different sites on the Isle of Wight?
If you are splitting your stay between Grange Farm and another site, we expect that at least 50% of your total stay will be spent at Grange Farm to qualify for a ferry ticket booking through us.
Important information for online bookings:
If you are booking ferry tickets via our online booking system, please note it will only recognise the camping dates to calculate and apply the correct ferry ticket cost. Ensure you select both inward and outward journeys and include the cost in your booking.
It is not sufficient to just put a message in the Notes section to book your ferry.
Q What if my vehicle or caravan is larger than standard?
If your vehicle or touring caravan exceeds standard dimensions, please include any extra length or height charges when booking. We will adjust the ferry cost after reviewing your special instructions.
Q How should I book trailers?
Trailers should be booked as towed, just like touring caravans.
Q What time is my pitch or accommodation available from?
Pitches are available from 12:00 midday on the day of arrival until 12:00 midday on the day of departure.
Pods, shepherd huts, static caravans, and cottages are available from 16:00 on the day of arrival until 10:00 on the day of departure.
Please ensure you vacate your pitch or accommodation by the specified time to allow for the next guests. Thank you!
